Ok, so one of my “goals” this year was to attend a workshop. Some kind. But I wanted to attend one.

There are some amazing workshops out there. Some far, some close… but never really worked out for my schedule and budget. I’ve always wanted to go to the For the Love Workshop. They had one this last November. It was in Oregon… but with work schedules and weddings to come, it wasn’t possibly for me to go. SOME day… I will hopefully make it to this one!

In the meantime… Ginny Corbett  of Ginny Corbett Photography has put on MANY amazing workshops and I am SO excited that this one is in DALLAS, TX. It’s The Dallas Renew Workshop and seems like it would be just perfect. It’s close, it’s not too long… I wouldn’t have to necessarily take off work. PERFECT!

Me and my good photographer friend are already planning how we can make this work. It would be so amazing to win and such a blessing!

Ginny – you ROCK!!!

So, this is a continuation of our workshop. I’ve been waiting patiently to post these because I love them so much!

Her wedding photographer (Stephanie Jean Photography) graciously let us tag along during their bridal session while we were all in Waco. She rocked it out…

Since Brittany is now married, we can show her off :)

Thanks again Stephanie for having us along. Brittany – you are beautiful girl!!!

Check out Courtney Moore and Nicole Williams and their photos as well :)

This was so fun!

So so fun!

I went with my sister-in-law Janeane (who’s a photographer) and her boyfriend (photographer in the making) to take some photos of Sam. Sam was up for anything and I’m so glad she was. We had her laying in the middle of the street for crying out loud :) Loved it! Check out some of my favorites :) There are too many!!!

I fell in LOVE with this little nook we found near an antique shop in Georgetown!!! Like a little alley-way from heaven :)

This past weekend was so fun! I met up with some UMHB graduates! We are all pursuing photography and have started our own businesses. We decided to make an “On Our Own” Workshop – A total Blast! Thanks so much for putting this together Stephanie!

We all agreed we need to do this more regularly… girls, thanks for a great weekend in Waco!

    Thanks for modeling Julie :)

*We also photographed a beautiful bride! But you’ll have to wait to see those until after her wedding this August :)*

    For the Love Workshop- Oregon

Written on May 25, 2010 Posted in Photogs

Have you heard about “For the Love Workshop” – if you haven’t… it’s amazing! I wanted to go last year (In Tennessee) but just couldn’t make it work. I would love the chance to go this year!

    www.fortheloveworkshop.com

Here’s a little bit from their website:

” ‘For the Love’ is not like any other workshop.  It’s actually designed as a spiritual retreat where you will also be able to learn from successful photographers who rely on God for creative inspiration.  At “For the Love”, you will encounter God in a deep way.  You will have a chance to get away from the constant demand of your career and seek God over your business in a quiet, secluded location.  You will not only draw inspiration from fellow photographers, believers, and friends, but also draw inspiration from the creator of creativity….God.”

    Sounds AMAZING!
