Amanda & Brent: Engagements

Amanda & Brent were so much fun to hang out with this last Saturday morning. Brent is in the U.S. Navy Band and plays trombone. They’ll be getting married this July and since Brent had a little bit of leave, they decided to get in some engagement photos while he was back in town.

They both met at University of Houston at the School of Music. Amanda is a 6th grade band director… so they both are doing what they love. Music. I’ve never been on the campus at UofH and it was a beautiful morning… perfect weather really. We also managed to head to Discovery Green for some fun photos as well.

Dana & Scott: Wedding

Dana & I go way back – all the way to High School (and really probably even before that!). I was so honored to be there through it all – from their engagements… her amazing bridals, and her lovely wedding. The wedding day called for rain and it held off just for Dana & Scott.

I always love coming back to Star Ranch as well… it’s where Derik and I had our reception, so it holds lots of memories for the both of us :)

I hope y’all are enjoying yourselves and taking in the sun in DR this week! You’ll LOVE IT! Congratulations Newlyweds!

Dana: Bridals

I met up with Dana a couple months ago at Chateau Bellevue… and OH MY GOSH what a place. It’s amazing and I highly recommend it. I loved shooting here and Dana made my job easy! Thanks Chateau Bellevue!

Dana & Scott were married yesterday and I’m so excited I can finally share!

Brandy & Cyrus: Just Because

I met up with Brandy & Cyrus in good ‘ol Montgomery Texas this weekend… now doesn’t that sound country :)

They wanted to get in some bluebonnet photos this spring – just because. And, Montgomery, you did not disappoint.

We had a great afternoon with seriously amazing weather… Houston, will you hold out on Summer temps just a bit longer!?

Bump…

I’ve been taking a photo a week (well, trying to remember) since we had our first appointment. At 8 weeks, I just grabbed my hubby’s iphone, so – it’s “our” first picture ever, and also my least favorite – haha – oh well! I’m glad I have it. It was the day after we first met you :)

It’s so crazy to see the growth in just a couple of months. I’m 16 weeks TODAY and have about ONE more month to find out if this little one is a boy or girl!

We can’t WAIT to see you again!
