So, some of you may have heard of Pinterest… and if not – YOU NEED TO HEAR ABOUT IT! It’s really an amazing thing. Truly. I think I was invited right when it was starting and I kind of “fiddled” (yes “fiddled”) around with it and all the sudden it has EXPLODED!

So, let me know if you would like an “invite” – feel free to email me … or you can request your own invite… but I heard that it takes a while? I think this got bigger quicker than they were thinking!

Pinterest is basically a “pin” board where you can keep and save ideas. They also have a handy dandy Pin It button you can add to your shortcut bar of your browser (ie, Safari, Firefox). Honestly, this would’ve been PERFECT for planning a wedding. So, Brides – take notice! I don’t know how many times I’ve emailed myself a link to go back to and read or look at – and I NEVER go back to it… this is a great way to keep everything in one place! Today I went out for my first maternity session with my co-worker and friend Elise! Elise and Damian are expecting their little one in August and I know they are ready to meet baby E – so am I!

Man I love taking Bridals but HATE having to wait to show them off. I had such a fun time with Katy when she came to Austin in March. Her mom and her friend even tagged along for a girl’s weekend. How fun! She was sure turning heads as we walked around The Long Center and around 2nd Street! It didn’t work out for me to photograph her wedding… BUT – she’s married and I can finally show her off!

Katy, I hope you and Brendan had a great wedding day and a *wonderful* marriage – It truly is a blessing!

I just came back from a HOT and windy – but VERY beautiful wedding this past weekend. Can you believe it was 105 in San Antonio? Whew!

Besides the heat, it was a big family celebration with lots of diy and the day turned out gorgeous! The Wedding was held at Jacob’s Grandparents home Ranch which was so lovely! With lots of help from her sister, who was a past bride of mine, it couldn’t have been better. It was a little bittersweet without her grandfather there, Janna & Dana lost their grandfather the week of the wedding. It was a very emotional week and wedding day… but it was such a great celebration of life. I know your PawPaw was there celebrating with you guys!

Back in April, I had the privilege to second shoot for Elizabeth from Vignette Photography.
