Vista West Ranch is holding an open house THIS Sunday. I’ll be there and so should you! Seriously.

I was able to photograph Dana & Billy’s amazing wedding there this last fall! Style me Pretty even featured their amazing wedding as well.

Vista West Ranch is a fabulous venue. Every inch of that property is amazing! If you’re still looking for a venue, Brides, you should definitely consider Vista West Ranch. The Open House is FREE… bring your fiance or even your girls for an afternoon of fun.

Hope to see you there!

I can’t believe that this exact day last year is when I officially started my business.

It’s grown so much since then!

ONE day… ONE DAY… I hope to make it my full time job. It could happen sooner than you think?

I look back at my first official year and am in awe at how far I’ve come. I photographed 4 weddings and started to develop my own style… and this year… I have ALREADY booked 5 weddings and have many second shooting opportunities awaiting me! Can you believe it!? We still have a lot of the year left too!

Just this past month I sadly had to tell 2 Brides that I was already booked on their date! HATE that! I would love to photograph their weddings… would LOVE to… but in a way it helps me see how far I’ve come. I’ve NEVER had to tell someone I was booked!

I am loving this journey of my business and can’t wait to see what happens this year and to take a look back in 2012 and see HOW FAR I’ve come!

and… because a post is just WAY better with a photo

Mayfield Park peacocks! Took these this time last spring… which… by the way… COME ON SPRING!

Happy Valentine’s Day Sweetheart! Love you!

Crazy to think we’ve almost been married 2 years!!!

Ok, so one of my “goals” this year was to attend a workshop. Some kind. But I wanted to attend one.

There are some amazing workshops out there. Some far, some close… but never really worked out for my schedule and budget. I’ve always wanted to go to the For the Love Workshop. They had one this last November. It was in Oregon… but with work schedules and weddings to come, it wasn’t possibly for me to go. SOME day… I will hopefully make it to this one!

In the meantime… Ginny Corbett  of Ginny Corbett Photography has put on MANY amazing workshops and I am SO excited that this one is in DALLAS, TX. It’s The Dallas Renew Workshop and seems like it would be just perfect. It’s close, it’s not too long… I wouldn’t have to necessarily take off work. PERFECT!

Me and my good photographer friend are already planning how we can make this work. It would be so amazing to win and such a blessing!

Ginny – you ROCK!!!

I just had to take advantage of the beautiful snow today! Toby had never experienced snow and I think he loved it! Happy Snow Day!

Love the little snow on his nose!

Hahaha!

Stay warm everyone! :)
