For the Love Workshop- Oregon

Written on May 25, 2010 Posted in Photogs

Have you heard about “For the Love Workshop” – if you haven’t… it’s amazing! I wanted to go last year (In Tennessee) but just couldn’t make it work. I would love the chance to go this year!

www.fortheloveworkshop.com

Here’s a little bit from their website:

” ‘For the Love’ is not like any other workshop.  It’s actually designed as a spiritual retreat where you will also be able to learn from successful photographers who rely on God for creative inspiration.  At “For the Love”, you will encounter God in a deep way.  You will have a chance to get away from the constant demand of your career and seek God over your business in a quiet, secluded location.  You will not only draw inspiration from fellow photographers, believers, and friends, but also draw inspiration from the creator of creativity….God.”

Sounds AMAZING!

To my husband…

On our one year anniversary.

I simply cannot believe it’s been a year! How time flies babe!

This year has been an amazing one with many MANY changes. There have been ups and downs, good and bad, but I would never have wanted to do it with anyone other than YOU!

I remember when we got engaged.

Took our engagements…

I remember when I took my bridals. It started really setting in! I was going to be a wife!

I remember, so specifically, when we got married. I hated being sick, but you were so sweet with me. The day is such a blur now, it went by so fast, but there are so many moments that I CAN see so clearly! I loved it – you were so handsome. I loved our first dance. I loved watching you dance with your mom. I loved listening to my dad’s toast to us. I also loved your haircut best that day, of all days.

Our honeymoon was a blast… I always tell you I miss Mexico – and it’s true – it was the most fun I could have ever asked for! I can’t wait to make many more vacation memories with you! Come on Cruise in August – haha! I remember not being so happy to come home. The Lord didn’t quite have your job ready for you… so, we lived with my parents. I’m so thankful to them to let us do that… but we both know it’s not what we wanted… but God had a better idea coming!

I remember the day you told me you got a job, how you tricked and surprised me! grr! ha! I was so excited and quickly jumped on the apartment hunting task. We decided not to get one, and at the time I wasn’t too thrilled with the decision. I wanted to be in our OWN place! But, you told me to be patient… and I was (or I hopefully was) and now we have a house all to ourselves. I love making it our own and I love you in it – and now we share it with our son Toby – haha!

You’ve fully supported me in anything and everything I’ve ever done. You’ve encouraged me when times were tough… told me to be patient when I needed to be. And, I love you for it! You’ve helped me make what my photography business is today!

I love you more than I can express and I can’t wait to see what our future holds.

Love you babe! Happy One Year Anniversary!

Susan: Hey guys - sorry this is a little late to the party, but happy anniversary! You're right Brittney, your wedding was beautiful and one of the sweetest I've ever been to! Here's to many more years for you guys!

I met up with Ashley & John in the Arboretum Area near Amy’s Ice Cream. After living in Austin all my life, why I didn’t know this little park existed is beyond me! Thank you so much for showing me a new place guys!

You are both so sweet and I had a great day with you! Can’t wait until your wedding in November!
