These two were so much fun earlier this week. The Lakeside Country Club was the PERFECT backdrop – and it’s going to be an amazing venue for their wedding as well.

We started inside – which is gorgeous… and then made our way through the grounds… the sunlight came at just the right time. All in all – Perfection.

Christine  & Hunter – thank you for being such fun clients!

My husband and I got back from the GORGEOUS Cabo last week.

This was a very spontaneous vacation. Husband has a new job and had a week off between ending his old job and starting his new job – so… we booked our trip 5 days before we left – craziness.

We were thankful that Derik’s mom was able to come and watch the little guy – I think planning a vacation in 5 days was good in a way because I didn’t have weeks to think ahead about leaving Logan. Just ripped that band-aid right off. And while I missed him like crazy… it was a much needed vacation.

We toured the famous Arch of Cabo San Lucas, we visited a glass blowing factory (so cool!) and toured the city of San Jose as well. We got sucked into a Time Share talk (bleh) but got 2 free massages out of the deal – BEST MASSAGE ever. I highly recommend Sandos Finisterra where we stayed. It was on the Pacific side of the peninsula and it was built into the mountains – very cool… we could see the pacific ocean and Sea of Cortez on either side. Both the view of the Marina and also the Beach. One tip we didn’t know… you cannot swim on the Pacific side as it is very dangerous. Huge undertow as well as 6 foot + waves. They were huge.

We really loved Cabo and while I don’t like to repeat vacation locations – this is one that I’d go on again for sure. There are a lot more photos on my iPhone that I may post on Facebook… go check it out there!

  • Sara williams - i love these!! We went to cabo on our honeymoon and these so make me want to go back…now to get comfortable with leaving the little one!

  • brittney - Awe I loved it!!! Y’all should definitely go back – I totally understand leaving the little one – it was hard!!!

This family is just too precious. Not that long ago we were taking photos of big sis – and here it is now Joshua’s turn and Olivia is just the best big sis there is. Always wanting to help. I know she’ll be amazing.

Liz & Brandon, you guys just have a wonderful little family and I’m so happy for you all. Thank you both so much for trusting me to photograph such sweet sweet memories.

Kelli & Tyler’s wedding was just simply… amazing. The Plantation House was the PERFECT backdrop (I just love that place) and I just LOVE LOVE LOVED the flowers from Luanna Clara Design. Kelli shared with me that she wanted TONS of detail photos… which was super easy to accommodate as every detail was just lovely.

This couple was just so sweet. They were so ready for their day and it went off without a hitch. You could tell they were just overjoyed to have all their friends and family there and it was just such a fun wedding. Hey, even I got in on some of the fun.

Kelli, Tyler… thank you so much for entrusting me with your special day. You guys are so precious and I thank you both for choosing me. What an honor. Love to you both!!!!
