4 Years…

Well, it’s that time of year again… and it always sneaks up on me. How do years keep going by faster and faster?

I can’t believe what this year has brought… it’s been amazing to see God’s hand at work.

A new job, a move, and now… a baby.

I’d do it all over again with you babe! Love you and Happy Anniversary!

Baby Melton – Gender Reveal Party

We were waiting for this party for what seemed like forever… it was a long week. We got to see Baby Melton this past Tuesday and had to wait 4 whole days (torture) to tell everyone. I mean, I put it on myself haha… but it was still hard none-the-less.

I wanted to do something a little different than I had normally seen. I had always seen the theme of “Mister or Miss” and loved it. I made cute lips and bow-tie photo props and brought out the Oh Snap photo booth which seemed like fun for everyone :)

The “Reveal” was where I wanted to get unique. I saw this photo on Pinterest and loved the idea of reveal the color in a confetti popper. I’ll post more tutorials that I found online below.

We had a great time and I’m so thankful and blessed at all the people that came.

SO, would it be blue or pink ;)

It’s a…

BOY!!!

Awe Baby Derik :)

and Baby Brittney :)

Miranda & Brian: Wedding

This wedding was perfect. We ALL were praying for rain to stay away and it did! The weather was perfect.

Miranda & Brian found the perfect spot to hold their quaint intimate garden wedding with close friends and family. Sycamore Heights B&B really is beautiful. The flowers were to die for – quite literally I wanted to take photos of them all day. Gorgeous! So, get ready for photo overload :)

It was such a great celebration and I loved being there.

Bump II…

My family has been asking… so I’m going to post more bump pics!! :)

We find out in exactly ONE WEEK from today the gender… Boy/Girl? Any guesses?

We’ll be having a gender reveal party back home with our family and I will be sure and post more photos of the party AND of course reveal if it was Boy/Girl… BUT… after the party! Derik and I are so excited!

It’s so amazing to me the difference in just even 1 month! WOWZAS!

Courtney - Ahhhhh! You look so good :) yay baby! :)

LeighAnn - Love the pics! I think we are the same amount of weeks along!

Elizabeth Hafner - Yay for more bump photos! You look fabulous.

Alison & Matt: Engagements

Saturday was a beautiful day. I was really worried because the last half of the week was really cold and windy. The cold was gone and it was a perfect spring evening when I met up with Alison & Matt.

Alison & Matt actually both went to University of Nebraska… BUT, they didn’t meet there. Their love of teaching brought them all the way to Houston, TX through a school program. They both teach here and met through friends once they were here in Texas. I don’t know about you, but that’s amazing!

They are getting married this next summer in Colorado where Alison’s family lives. Sounds amazing… A summer wedding in Colorado.

They had some amazing ideas and even incorporated their love of teaching through some cute and unique photos!

they’re so cute and fun!
